Cryns #3 is Toby Cryns. He is the 3rd child of 7.

Toby tours both solo and with his band, an indie-rock trio based in Minneapolis, MN, USA, that has the stylings of The Cars mixed with the sensibilities of Waylon Jennings. The songwriting is honest and biting, while the music pushes towards the rock end of the indie-rock spectrum.

Toby has written hundreds of songs and has 6 full-length albums to his credit as both a self-titled solo artist and as Cryns #3. The band’s most recent album, “If Howard Roark Could Dance” is available from the Cryns #3 homepage and on iTunes. The band’s new album, “Faraway Farm” will be released in July 2009.
