I am currently in Paso Robles, CA with my parents, who have given me a room to myself to stay in while I’m here – something I never had in all my years living in Richmond. There was always someone walking in, playing the drums, sleeping on the floor, or otherwise being in my general vicinity. But here, there is nothing but space.
Tonight I play in San Luis Obispo at a musician showcase. I am quite looking forward to mingling with some of the locals.
